Sandeep joined the LEAPH Lab in 2022 Fall. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Computer Science at Virginia Tech. With keen interests in Machine Learning, he is excited about the applications of Data Science in the fields of Bioinformatics and Healthcare. Sandeep has gained relevant experience as a Research Assistant at University of British Columbia where he worked on Drug discovery using Machine Learning. As a part of his undergraduate studies at BITS Pilani, he took up projects in Social Media Analytics, ML for Oncology, Data Mining & Artificial Intelligence. Within the industry, Sandeep has work experience as a Technology Analyst with Deloitte and internship experience as a Software Developer with Synchrony Financial.

In his spare time, he enjoys photography and watching movies.
