Balu joined the LEAPH lab in the summer of 2023. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Balu is a passionate data scientist with over 3 years of industry experience in healthcare. He has completed both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering prior to joining Virginia Tech. His primary interest lies in machine learning algorithms and their applications across various domains. He is keen on expanding his knowledge in the areas of machine learning and software development concepts required for designing effective AI systems.

During his free time, Balu enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching movies. He is also an avid cricket enthusiast and follows the sport closely.
