Hardeep joined LEAPH in the spring of 2024. He is currently a M.S. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. In LEAPH, Harheep is involved in multiple projects analyzing (meta)genomic data that we obtained from the soil environment.

Before this, Hardeep received his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering with minor in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where he was awarded with IITGN Director’s Silver Medal for overall outstanding performance. He served as a data analyst at ZS Associates, where he analyzed primary market data to devise targeted marketing strategies for U.S. pharmaceutical conglomerates. He enjoys working in varied fields and deriving meaningful insights from data-based evidence.
