LEAPHers shine at the IGC Symposium.
Ying-Xian and Emily presented their work at the Annual Interfaces of Global Change Graduate Research Symposium at the Center for the Arts at VT. Ying-Xian presented on the distinct ecological strategies that motile and non-motile Listeria species use to achieve comparably broad geographic ranges. Emily spoke about the exposure risks posed by soil-derived human pathogens.
Also, congratulations to Ying-Xian for winning the 2nd Place Poster Award!
